In other words, do you think that most people will stay away from this date, so I will be able to negoiate a better price with DJ's, photogrpahers, venue reps etc?Do you think that because I want to get married on Friday the 13th I can have more bargaining power?
some places, yes. like, i have seen a couple wedding shows where people choose to get married on friday the thirteenth and they talk about ';yeah, we got the hall last minute because no one wanted to get married on friday the thirteenth'; or ';we got this bakery at the last minute because no one wanted to get married on friday the thirteenth';
dont count on it tho, everyone's wedding planning experience is differentDo you think that because I want to get married on Friday the 13th I can have more bargaining power?
No these people are in business to make money. If you are gonna have it on an unpopular day they will have to do the exact same work so they are not gonna give you any sort of break on the price for that reason. More people choose that day than you might think anyway
You will probably get better pricing because you are getting married on a Friday vs. what is normally charged on a Saturday. But just because it's Friday the 13th doesn't make any difference.
no i don't really think there would be thhat many people avoiding that date not too many people are supersitious about it - i dont think
No. Business people aren't going to be superstitious, they're focused on the bottom line.
Probably not. Drive the best bargain you can, no matter when the date.
To any business person, each day is business as usual.
I think that only applies to people who are superstitious. Try getting married on halloween
