Has anyone been married or attended a wedding at the Figueroa Hotel in Los Angeles?

What was you're experience? Did you have a good one or something else? How was the food? How many people did you host? I just went to visit the hotel for a wedding location and I would like to know what you're experiences were like there. I've never attended a wedding there but I have read reviews at Projectwedding.com and Weddingwire.com praising the location and saying they had a wonderful experience. Tripadvisor.com says the entire place is a horrible dump but most people there are overdramatic. I think I read one bad wedding-related review on another site from a couple yrs ago saying that the hotel's event coordinator was hard to get in touch with but otherwise they liked the location. Go to the above listed sites and read the reviews from real past brides, make an appointment with the hotel and see for yourself, and make sure to get a tasting before you book them even if you have to pay for it. Everyone is going to have their own unique experience though so there isn't any cut and dry answer to that.Has anyone been married or attended a wedding at the Figueroa Hotel in Los Angeles?
Thank you for your info! The cooridinator was difficult to get a hold of and when I finally did go to our appt... he left to meet another party. The Location is beautiful, but they weren't open to outside catering. So i'm off to look at many other locations!!!
