What would make a married woman cheat with a married man for ten years?

Ten years is a long, long time for an affair. I really don't know how such a relationship could be kept a secret for all those years.





I would say that they stayed with it because they were able to get what they wanted from both their marriages and from each other. They had the best of both worlds. They had the stability of their marriage, possibly children, and they could live a life of a happy family. And with the affair they had passion, excitement and sex that was probably really amazing.





They would probably realize they were being selfish but it was too good to give it up. Their bond probably got very close over the years.





Now that I think about it their relationship could have been covered up as ';family friends'; where married couples are friends with other couples. It is very sad as so many people end up getting hurt over this.What would make a married woman cheat with a married man for ten years?
She may deeply resent her husband and has been punishing him (getting away with it). Also, she is craving the attention from the other guy. She gets off on secrets and excitement. She may pretend to love one or the other, but she loves herself more than anything.What would make a married woman cheat with a married man for ten years?
i'm guessing she must have marital problems and the guy is a man whore or something. maybe both of them have kids and neither are happy with their sex lives with their spouses. i hate cheating.
If they are not the married couple, bad choices and lack of morals would be what excuses they could use....





If they are the married couple, you question is strange....
One spouse being gone alot . Too much routine. Boredom. You can always love them, but you need something every once in awhile.
About 10% of the women out there jump the fence regularly and really don't know why they do it. Its just the way they are.
