How old should you be when you first get married?

I'm figuring I'll be about 23 when I finish my 4 years of university and 1 year of internship so I'd like to get engaged then. A lot of people seem to be waiting until mid-thirties and many are just shunning marriage. Is 25 too young to get married nowadays?How old should you be when you first get married?
There is not really a certain age. Biblicaly, you should allow for :the ';flower of youth to pass';. In other words, have acquired the sufficient maturety where you can care for yourself and someone else. Where you feel more than mere attraction but instead a love for the person as a whole. Consider and plans things very carefully. Specially the economics since those are the source of allot of fights early on. Save!! Save !!!

the maturity of both people counts. I was 25 and my wife 23 when we got married. Like a lot of young couples our biggest problem was money or the lack of it. Once we got over that hurdle by communicating better things were great. PS we have been married 37 %26amp; 1/2 years and are very happy.
I was 21 when I got married and it was the best decision ever! Now I am 25 and expecting my first baby. 25 is not too young to tie the knot, as long as both partners are ready for the responsibility.
No 25 isn't to young at all to get married.





I was 22 when i got married and i never thought that i was to young to get married.
If your really in love it shouldn't matter. Plus thats the new thing to get married young. everyones doing it. all the celebs. But you see how they turn out.
25 is not too young. I am 20 and married. We have a 3 year old son, and another baby on the way.
