Hobbies for married couple with a toddler and newborn on the way?

we are both into different things like he likes paintball, d%26amp;d, and mtg while i like to read. it is really hard to really do anything with a toddler who always ';needs'; attention, so she thinks, so other then sex what is there to doHobbies for married couple with a toddler and newborn on the way?
movie nights, going for walks, going bowling- a toddler would need help but it can be fun, going to the park...

my husband and i are also into different things and have 2 small children so we have found little things to do together like i listed above and he even got me into his video games so we play together. try doing something he's interested in. -not the paintball of course since your pregnant :)Hobbies for married couple with a toddler and newborn on the way?
Netflix and watch movies

DVR/TiVo and watch a common favorite TV show

Family things - go to the beach or park together

Everquest2

Work-out together - some gyms have a toddler/kid room

They'll act up, but you can start taking them out to dinner once in while now and start teaching them how to behave in a restaurant.

Otherwise, you need to find a baby-sitter; grandma is typically the first candidate then a sister or brother then a neighbor with young kids and you can trade weekends watching the kids.

Other than 18+/21+ occasions you can take your kids just about anywhere.

You are only as tied down as you let yourself be.
Did you have any common interests before you got married, had children? Do you like to cook? Cooking with a toddler can be quite adventuresome, give them a plastic knife and let them cut mushrooms, for pasta or cut up cheese for appetizers.

After the kids are in bed, share passages from articles you are reading, watch a video together, learn some new card games or board games.
With your being pg, as well as a toddler? Not very many things you can do. Kids are expensive and time consuming. You are out from under your big task in 20 years.

If you haven't figured it out, your lives are no longer about you....or even about each other... They are about two children you are putting on this planet. And children are not bonding, they are divisive.... But you owe it to them to be the best parents in the world. We used to teach this in hs in courses in Marriage and the Family. We don't any more. We barely teach you how to balance a check book.

Lots of couples have date night once or twice a month, where they get a sitter and go have dinner and a movie. If you can afford that, do that. It lets you reconnect with your husband.
We like camping, playing at the beach, riding bikes, you can get a bike trailer.

I mean with a newborn you are gonna be too tired to do much, I mean he is prolly playing all this kid stuff because he thinks you are too busy for him and mostly that's true so I hate to say it but your 2 kids are BOTH of your new hobby.
Taking walks together.
jack ****, you got a kid now
