Is anyone else married to a die-hard surfer or sportsman who does their sport a lot & leaves you alone a lot?

My boyfriend is a die-hard surfer and while he does surf less since having our baby, he still surfs when surf is up and leaves me alone a lot with the baby. Is this normal?Is anyone else married to a die-hard surfer or sportsman who does their sport a lot %26amp; leaves you alone a lot?
