Legal Proof is a Marriage License, signed by a legal authorized person..

Pics don't mean legal..

Work Permit... Interview... So, you are not a citizen I assume..? Contact the INS and ask them. You will get the correct answers to your questions.I married to a us citizen, waiting for the interview, how can we prove we are legally married?
Everyone makes this interview out to be as if your life depends on it and the people there are extremely strict. My best friend said she had to wait for about two hours, and the whole process took about ten minutes! Just show them your pictures like engagement pictures, or pictures of you guys together and stuff like that, wear your ring, and don't be nervous. It's not bad at all!
there are no typical questions, they change for every interview so people can't put a fast one on the goverment. I can tell you there are a lot of questions to answer. Have your legal documents in order, pictures if you want. Be aware if one of you fail the interview you will be deported.
Dont you have a marriage certificate from the day you were married?
Your best bet is to ask someone who has done it.
They won't be concerned if the marriage is legal, per se. What they will be asking is for proof it's legitimate, in other words you got married because you wanted to be married, not just to get you a work permit.

They will discuss how you met, where you met, how long you knew each other, how long you've lived together. Expect to be interviewed apart and then have your answers compared.

If your case is denied, there is a long appeal process available, but it will be much harder. If you are ultimately denied, you'll be sent home.
Do you have the same last name? A lease or a bill or a bank statement that has both of your last names on it (or any other form that has your marital status) should be dated, and serves as a legal document. Good luck!
Why would your case be denied if you are legitimately married?
Pic of the Wedding ?:)
