Can a person still live a good life without getting married and having children?

I can't see myself being happy with getting married and having children. That whole lifestyle just does not appeal to me. But then society makes it sound like getting married and having kids in the only way to live and if you don't do that, then your life is doomed and will be pointless in the end. Do you think someone can still be happy without all of that?Can a person still live a good life without getting married and having children?

Of course they can. Many people do that. Besides, there are countless married people and parents who are absolutely miserable...and even if they are happy, there are no guarantees they'll have someone when they are old anyway. People become widowed and children often have their own lives and live far away. So in the end we're all alone anyway.
Yes, I actually think people who never have kids or get married are the luckiest people on the planet.


I think marriage and having children are overrated.


marriage is a joke these days and kids are a bunch of brats because the parents don't know how to properly discipline them anymore.
