What Could happened if someone from the royalty wants to married with a black or Hispanic person? ?

I've been thinking, has any royalty from Europe mixed his raze or ethnic? What could happen to that person if is really decided to do it?What Could happened if someone from the royalty wants to married with a black or Hispanic person? ?
Short Answer: In both cases, this has already happened.

Involved Explanation: If ';Hispanic'; includes anyone of Spanish descent not just those who descend from Spanish conquestadors and the original natives of the Americas, then Catherine of Aragon and Phillip II of Spain certainly technically apply, even if most Castillean Spaniards don't really look that different than Europeans in France and the United Kingdom. Henry VIII of England married the Spanish Princess Catherine of Aragon. Their daughter, Mary I of England, married the Spanish prince who would become Phillip II of Spain on 25 July 1554.

The Act of Settlement of 1701 prohibited a British Royal from marrying a Roman Catholic. If a Roman Catholic converted prior to marrying a member of the Royal Family of the United Kingdom (as Autumn Kelly did recently), however, no constitution prohibition would keep their children from succeeding to the throne. The original law was enacted to keep Jacobite pretenders, who were Roman Catholics, from attempting to seize the British Crown.

Some historians who look at portraits of George III's consort, Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1744-1818), believe that she was of African ancestry. The very distant descendant of a Moorish princess who married into the Portuguese royal family, Charlotte's ancestors, in turn, had lived in Germany for generations. Nevertheless, if the ';one drop rule'; that prohibited marriage between whites and African-Americans in the American South up through the 1960s is applied, Charlotte's looks would probably categorize her as a person of color.

Although Charlotte wasn't George III's first choice to wed in an arranged marriage (as all royal marriages of that time were), the couple were relatively happy, Charolotte bearing him 15 children, 13 of whom survived to adulthood. Her husband also remained faithful to her. The Queen supported her husband during his bouts with porphyria (a form of ';madness';), and as a dedicated, amateur botanist, she is responsible for establishing the Kew Gardens.

Given these historical examples, the contemporary student of history might draw the conclusion that if an upper- or upper middle-class Hispanic from Latin America or an upper or upper-middle-clas class African-Brit possessed a suitable education and background, he or she would be welcomed into the Royal Family. Whether he or she could tolerate his or her nickname, however, is another story.

Of course, people who believe such things are likely to believe that Beethoven, Puskin, and Dumas, fils, were of partial African descent. All the same, culture, class, and the appropriate pedigree, attending the ';right'; schools, for example, mean as much or more than race or ethnic background when selecting an appropriate royal bride or groom.

P. S. --- Thanks, Paco for reminding me of the honourable James Lascelles, who is 44th in line to the throne, and Elizabeth II's first cousin, once removed.

Well,a black woman married an European royal a few years ago.And then a mixed-race woman of Asian descent married into Denmark's royal family, but, unfortunately, the marriage ended in divorce.

Race is no impediment to marriage,as long as the individual is well-educated,well-bought up,has no criminal past, and in some cases is of the right religious background.

The chances of a black king regnant in the UK is slim-to-none because the man would have to be related by blood, and pretty high up in the succession list to even have a chance. It would be easier for a woman to marry into the family, and I hope one day that will be possible...never say never!

And Hispanics are Latins...the Bourbons were Spanish/French .Spain has a history of Spanish monarchs.
Members of the British Windsor family have already married Maori (indigenous New Zealand people) and James Lascelles married a Nigerian black woman. From an earlier marriage to an American hippie he gave birth to the only member of the Windsor family who is an American citizen.

As mentioned, the crown prince of Luxembourg married a black woman from Panama.

I actually think that most people would get over their suprise pretty fast if Prince William were to date a black woman.

Four years ago a lot of Americans though that there were very few states that would elect a black man with a funny name Obama was only the fifth black American to become a senator since the civil war.
It's all good, as long as they're not Catholic (not an opinion of mine, but an actual law in the UK - the spouse of the monarch, or anyone in line to the throne, must not be a Catholic).

The monarch themselves must be Church Of England, but their spouse can be any ethnicity or religion except Catholic.

Is the UK ready for it? Probably not, the most royalist people in the UK also tend to be the most racist. Not all by any means, but some.

Not sure about other European royal families, but the UK one is the last one taken seriously (head of state with constitutional powers).
Well despite some bad press this country is not racist. But I suppose if it was Spanish lady Sir Francis Drake might be called into service. Except he's dead. Jocking aside the Brits by and large would not have a problem. I mean our Royal family is really German and Prince Philip is Greek. How's about that for tolerance.
well legally there is no problem with that the only problem that there would be was if the intended spouse were a catholic if they were a catholic and would not renounce their faith then the royal who marries them would then be voided out of the line of succession.
If you read a bit of history you'd know that in Catherine of Aragon the English have already had an Hispanic Queen.
I think the belgian royals have the first asian in their royal family, britain is not ready fo a blac royal, sorry but it's true, however there hae been black nobles going bck past the middle ages
Technically they should be accepted, but who knows what will happen to them...
They kill them. That's what happened to Diana.
They would end up like Diana.........
