I have a friend that married an immigrant because she had a child with him and wanted her son to have a father. His visa expired and he would have to go back if she didnt marry him. Now she wants out of the marriage but dont want him to have to go back. Is there anyway to get a divorce before the 2 year time limit and him not have to go back?My friend married an immigrant with an expired visa to keep him here with his son. Is there anyway out of that?
getting married doesn't help the green card at all
they can still deport this guy , with a valid visaMy friend married an immigrant with an expired visa to keep him here with his son. Is there anyway out of that?

NO the LAW says 2 years.
So either she stays in an unhappy marriage and committs fraud,
or she leaves him now and he can stay - but he will still be illegal.
He was good enough to make a baby with. He was good enough to enter a into a marriage of convenience. He was good enough to put you in an illegal situation but, he's not good enough to stay with?
Well your friend should have put more thought into getting knocked up and then marrying someone she didn't really want. Let him go back. She's ready to toss him aside. Why do people like that have kids?
Don't think so. Nothing practical anyway.
Let me guess. Your friend is about 5 foot tall, 5 foot wide and weighs around 3 bills.
Yes there is.. but... I dont help scams
Go see a lawyer
